ALoHa FRiDaY!!!

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday

In Hawaii,"Aloha Friday", is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
Oh and don't forget to click on the link above to go to the original post and play along with Kailani and the rest of us make some new blog friends!

My question for today is:

Do you beleive that

#1) there is OnE special person that you are Destined to be with?? or...

#2) that there are Many people that could be Right for You?

I think that's kinda two questions

SO,

Do you beleive in #)1 or #)2 ?!?

My daughters Belle and Jill use to ask me this all the TiMe!!

I also wanted to thank everyone for your encouraging and kind words, on my very deep post, the other day!I am feeling a bit better about everything at this writing! I have e-mailed most of you but just in case I missed you or couldn't find an address, ThankYou! You all are just Great!!I am so glad to have met you!

I don't believe that there is only "one" right person. I do, however, believe that @ certain points in our lives "one" person is more right than another. Does that make sense?

Hang in there. It's worth it all in the end.

I don't know whether there is one right person for everyone, but I do know that without a doubt the man I married was the one that God wanted me to marry. So for me there was one Mr. Right.

#1 I believe in Soul Mates!

I believe in #2. In all the people in the world, it would be hard to believe that there is only one person who would be right for someone. I know God put my husband and I in each others lives, but if I had made the decision not to move to Florida, I can't believe neither of us would have met someone else that would have been "the right one".

I agree with number too.

You could find many persons who are right for you, will make a good life with, a happy one even, but you best choose one.

There are many who have been married once and they had a great relationship. Maybe the spouse died or whatever, but they went on to have other great relationships.

Oh this so goes with my Aloha Friday, well, kinda. I really believe that there is someone out there for everyone. I tell myself that anyway. :)

I don't know about the others, but i firmly believe that God brought my husband and i together.. and that's what makes our relationship a blessing!
Have a nice Friday!

*my Aloha Friday's up too:)

I don't know, I am undecided. The romantic in me would like to think that I was fated to be with my husband, but I do agree with the others that its hard to believe that if he and I didn't get together we wouldn't be happy with someone else. I do think its possible to love two different people at the same time for totally different reasons. Great question!

Hi, stopping by from sITS! :)

I believe in soul mates. I believe there is one right person out there for everyone. I believe i'm a helpless romantic. :)

Visiting from SITS:) Definitely number 1!

Well, being Christian, I feel that if you ask God he'll lead you to a person that's right for you. But...we make it work with God's help. Dropped in from SITS. Good to meet you!

personally I think there are many partners out there for us. Too big a planet to be just one and you have to admit the odds of finding one is how many billion would be impossible.

I know people who have been widowed and find happiness again so obviously there were two Mr or Mrs Rights for them, just not at the same time Lol!

Dee said...

I should believe in #1 right? Well I really don't. I really do believe that you can make it work with a lot of different people if you both put enough effort in.

I don't believe there is that one person that was made just for you but I have been lucky to meet the love of my life. Like anything else you have to work at it with whoever you pick.

Jennifer said...

I think it depends on the individual.

Beth @ TheAngelForever said...

I'm not really sure. I think that when you meet the right person for you, ou just know.

Country Mouse, City Mouse said...

I think that there is that one special person who you are meant to be with.

E @ Scottsville said...

Well, I'd have to say I think there are multiples... and we have a 'choice' in who we choose.

Just my opinion. =0)

I think it's different for everyone; some people are with their high school sweethearts their whole lives, other people fall in and out of love as they grow older and change.

I think there is one special person for everyone. It just takes time to find that one special person.

I do not believe that God is into arranged marriages. I believe He guides us in life and we come in contact with the people that He puts in our path. But, ultimately the choice is up to us. Then He promises to continue to guide us and empower us to make our marriages shine His glory if we will look to Him to make that happen.

I believe there is a "right" person in the world for each one of us! For reasons that are many and you are not still with the "one" you married, than I also believe there is another "right" person out there again ~ waiting just for you!!

I don't believe that there is just one right person... but the person you end up with, ends up being the "right one"....

kinda confusing :-)

Hugs,
Traci

Off to check out your "deep post".

Can I say both? lol I don't think there is just one person who will be right for you. I think there may be one or two. It's about choices and maybe some are better than others. But I think you might meet that one perfect person and live a long happy life together but if one of you should pass away before the other does that mean you are done, no more romantic life for you? I don't think that's necessarily true.

Annie said...

Maybe both!! It just depends on the situation.

Have a nice weekend.

i do not believe in #1, but i'm sure it does happen for some people. i agree with #2, but i am married to a wonderful man. we have known each other since college and just celebrated our 10th anniversary. aloha and take care.

Susan Cook said...

I think I believe in #1, I can't imagine being with any one else other then my husband.

Corrie Howe said...

I know that there was only one man for me. I had in my heart for a long time what he would look like. When I found him in my mid-thirties I knew he was the one. My husband says the same thing.

Tara said...

I think I believe #2 but I know God placed my husband in my path at just the perfect moment.

Omi said...

Number #1 for me. I do wish there were a #2.

Anonymous said...

I believe there is a plan for us all, it may be one special person, or more, but we are destined to follow it.

The Four Week Vegan said...

I would say #2. After watching my dad lose my mom and then to find a wonderful woman to marry in his retirement and they are perfect for each other and with each other. She lost her hubby of 30+ years too. It would make me so sad to think that they would not have been together if there was only one right person for them.

Undecided...

I think there are several people you can be happy with. You make a choice and then commit to that choice.

Lacey said...

I have recently married and I have talked with him about it. I believe #2. Whoever you marry and enter a covenant relationship with becomes the one. Not that there is one out there and you could miss him. God is bigger than that.

So I want to start running and my latest post is about it. I'd like some suggestions to help me start if you have any:) Ive gained weight since our wedding a year ago and I am so embarrassed. It's only like 10 lbs but it's at the point of needing new clothes and I'm really down:(

For some reason I don't believe in destiny at all and who knows if there is someone out there right for me. If it happens, it happens. Thanks for stopping by my playground :)

Unknown said...

i think #2 is true, but some people are a better fit for you than others. Marriage is work, and you have to try to keep it healthy. I don't mean this to sound cynical, but I don't think Marriage is magic.

Thanks for visiting me on my SITS day!

Brandi said...

I think there are many people who could be right for you...but I also think that marriage means something...so you shouldn't be looking for the next MR. Right after you get married! :)

Belle said...

so weird because I thought I already posted ;-)
It said, "thanks for asking a bunch of people, Mom. I've been meaning to ask you that one again!" love you!

Spice said...

I go back and forth from thinking there's 1 person you're supposed to be with (soul mate) to thinking there are more then one. :) Guess it depends on how hubby and I are getting along. ;)
