In Hawaii,Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
Oh and don't forget to click on the link above to go to the original post and play along with Kailani and the rest of us make some new blog friends!
My question for today is:
What is the Wackiest(craziest),silly, funniest thing that has happened to you this week???Or recently??
I was cleaning my pool main drain out and before I got the top off I saw a frog swirling around!!When I opened it up he jumped out and hopped away!! It was wack crazy because I know he had been spinning around for at least a few days!!

My son went outside on Monday for his PT at school. Apparently he stepped in something a dog left behind on the playground. Lucky me, I got to clean it and carry my 50 pound/5 year old son into the house because his shoes and socks were in quarantine. Then I Tweeted a message to my hubby that the rest of the shoe cleaning was all his.
I don't think anything crazy happened this week, and usually never. But once at about this time of year I hear meowing when I stopped my car. It sounded like I parked on top of a cat. But there was no cat anywhere near my car. When I finally realized that the sound was coming from under my hood and opened it a cat jumped out ... followed by a mouse! They both scurried away!
Absolutely nothing, I have not been well enough.
Man! I can't think of anything!
I don't know how wacky this is but I had to laugh when it happened.
I mopped the kitchen floor and then left the room to mop the bathroom and foyer. When I returned to the kitchen it was covered with little footprints. It looked like a dozen puppies had been running around but in fact it was only one three year old grand daughter that had been playing in the backyard but came in to search the kitchen for a snack with her darling dirty bare feet!
Nothing, how boring is that?
I recieved some mix CDs from a blogger who ended his post. He mailed special sets he compiled of the music embedded, quoted and referrenced in his blog to his readers. He did it just because it was fun to do and a way to thank everyone.
A few nights ago I was sleeping and all the sudden I was woken up by the sound of glass breaking downstairs. As I opened my eyes the computer screen was on. (I had turned it off before bed.) When I went downstairs, a mug had fallen out of a closed cabinet and broken. Pretty weird!
Wonderful post! In answer to it... the craziest thing that's happened to me this past week would have to be... realizing that my son's belly stump fell off. He was only barely 5 days old. I wasn't expecting it, at all.
FYI, I've privatized my blog. Let me know if you want clearance and I'll send you an invite. Just email me: jrsmama2009(at)gmail(dot)com
It wasn't so much crazy but I did get to see my little guy put on a show for the Thanksgiving Feast. It was really cute because they did this song called "I Know A Chicken!" It was hilarious.
nothing crazy this week so far thank goodness.. normally it gets crazy around here.
OOo we've got like 3 appointments with the heating floor prob.. still nothing solved... but these guys must love appointments:P and also 2 doctor appointments... bleah... i start hating appointment more and more everyday!:P
Happy Friday!
* my Aloha Friday's" up too:)
Hmmmmmmmm...I'm a high school teacher, so too many to name. The boy to came to class in the gorilla mask is a good start, though. SITS sent me by, and I'm glad they did!
The Buck Stops Here
Stopping over from SITS this morning. The craziest thing that happened to me this week is that I had 2 cavities at the dentist. I am NOT happy at all! Love your blog header.
The craziest thing that happened this week is that when I put a prayer request to some of my friends about my father-in-law's poor health as many non-Christians as Christians e-mailed me back that they were praying.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, finding that my teeny tiny button quail laid even teenier tinier eggs???
*sigh*
I think I need to step it up a notch in the excitement dept, don't you? LOL
I did go to a wild concert this past weekend with a bunch of bands including Third Day, David Crowder.....and have you ever seen/heard Family Force 5??? They will blow your socks off, my ears are still ringing.... so I guess I can ride that crazy event into this week.
Hi Thanks for stopping by on my SITS day
The wackiest thing that happened to me this week is i was sitting on my couch last and my phone just went crazy. Come to find out it's my surprise SITS day :D
I can't think of anything. I was battling a sinus infection all week.
Gosh, nothing too crazy. My daughter got her drivers license. That's crazy, lol. OH! I got an order from a Yogi in India! That was crazy cool! Nothing other than that!
cant think of anything too silly or wacky...
I got packages delivered to my door step over night after I had tracked them and was told they were delivered 2 mornings ago.

Ok I am not sure this counts but the other night I dreamed that I called up and cussed at my VERY religious mother. I woke up in such a panic that I couldn't get back to sleep until I checked all the phones to make sure that they didn't have my mother's number as the last called number. I think that my count as nutty maybe even a little funny. ;0)
Crazy or wacky? It's been pretty mundane here, unfortunately.
My daughter told me she wanted a sister or brother for her birthday (she turns 3 Dec 14th). I almost spit my drink out.
My two - year old tried to make coffee - using the same coffee filter and just adding 10 scoops of coffee.
Ok - this didn't happen while I was home, but it was too funny not to post!
Hmmm... the whole day Monday was crazy!! I won a contest (which never happens), and I bought an overpriced flat iron because the sweet lady told me "since you're a student, I'll give you the student discount". I am so not a student and look WAY too old to pass as one, but I totally took the bait.
By the way I gave you a blogger awards... feel free to stop by @ My Life... in words to pick it up...
(and I love the Aaron Shust song!!)
On Wednesday I went to had my license again and one of my girls said to my husband: Hey, Daddy you don't take a shower!!
Thanks God, only one person heard that and of course started laughing.
Have a wonderful weekend,Olga
Well, I'm my mother's daughter... You'll have to call me for this story! :-)
I can barely remember what I did yesterday so I couldn't tell you anything wacky, crazy from my week. I'm sure there was something though!
No crazy, wackiness this week. I'm sure it will catch up with me.
Nothing wacky, which is kinda stange...
When I went out for dinner with some friends and the power went out as soon as we got our meals - so we sat there eating in the dark!
Probably the wackiest thing that happened to me this week is something that happened today: I took my daughter to see New Moon and I actually liked it.
How funny. This reminds me, my mom got my youngest daughter (2 1/2) a frog potty chair to try to encourage her to start pottying. She is very stubborn. My mom asked her if she wanted to go use her new potty and she said "I think it hopped away."
I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Yesterday my three year old son told me he was moving out and getting his own house and that my husband was going to get HIS own house. I was a bit surprised that he already wanted to leave the nest. :)
I hate to say it...
but nothing crazy here..
:(
I was drinking a glass of wine, and a small fruit fly flew out of it. Dang.
Stupid toilet wont flush. Turns out it's the sewer problem. now it's no laundry, dishes, nothing. And we have to wait until Monday! That is my crazy and it's going on all weekeend!!!!!
Poor dizzy little guy - surprised he could hop straight! My answer to your question is actually something I just posted on -- 'I am the Joker' so run by my blog for the laugh.....thanks for stopping the other day, too...I will be back...
I honestly don't think anything crazy happened to me this week and if I did I don't remember it!!
I was visiting my daughter in South Carolina, and we spent nearly an hour trying to find a Sunday evening mass -- but to no avail. None of the churches online or in the yellow pages had any services in the evening. That evening, my son-in-law, who was driving home from out of town, arrived a little late for dinner. "Sorry," he said, "all the churches were getting out and delayed me."
"Say what?!" My daughter and I both looked at him incredulously at the same time -- and he wondered what was up! (We told him!)
WEll... it wasnt this week but it was recently. I was home in bed, still, around 10AM. I have roomates and constant traffic in my house. SI I wake up at 10 to the sound of the front door top giggle and I think, "If you want in or forgot your key, call or knock if you want in"! then I fell back to sleep. About 30 minutes later I was re awakened to a dog whining. I JUMPED out of bed and went to the living room to find a GIANT, 7 foot tall (on 2 legs) jet black, beautiful great dane!!! And on top of that, my boyfriend went to the bathroom and the dog openend the door!!! So you can imagine how my thoughts went back to 10am. ding..light bulb... that dog let himself in my house!!!!ahhhh
Nothing much going on over here except my daughter has discovered how to shake her head to say no, so she has been saying no to giving me kisses and then laughing.
While this may not sound wacky, I learned how to use the Kirby to shampoo the carpets this week. I am a victim of what we call the Kitchen Vortex in that gravity seems to shift around me and stuff goes flying or falls or gets spilled or broken. In other words, I'm a klutz. So when I told Gary I was going to shampoo the carpets, he asked me to wait until he got home, but I assured him I could do it. So picture me, very carefully reading and re-reading the instructions with vacuum bits strewn about. The only drama was that I turned the sudser on full blast and well.. ahem.. lots of foamy bubbles. But the carpet looks great now!
Thanks for dropping by from SITS!
