Music Monday!!!!

It is Music Monday at my friend
Tara's blog!Today,The theme is ">Christmas Music! I chose these two songs! We sang the first one,Angels We Have Heard on high" in church yesterday and it was very upbeat and happy!!I just loved singing it and thinking about my Lord and Savior's birth and what a truly glorious day it was!! Lots of people sang along
and it was so amazing to see their faces changed to joy and smiles!!

My second song is,"Jingle Bell Rock"!Many years ago when my son, Jason, was little we created a different version with his nickname in it!!We all used to sing it to him!My girls Belle and Jill can still sing it that way today!!I still sing it that way today and boy do I miss him!!
Very silly and a wonderful memory!

I can't beleive Christmas is almost upon us!I am truly trying to stay focused on the true meaning of Christmas! The birth of our savior! Now don't get me wrong,I enjoy looking at lights and all of the festivities but in my heart it's all about Jesus!

Borrowed from my daily Readings~
If you are experiencing a problem and SiNceReLy seek a solution, direct your thoughts to God and don't focus on the problem. You cannot find a solution to your problem if you do not allow God to assist you.
Allow him to create order from chaos and to give you the right solution. When God becomes more important than your problem, you will be fueled by a spiritual power because God is occupying his rightful place in your life. You Will find solutions to your problems and by His grace you will be able to live a victorious Life!!

This really works!! I have tried it!
Love you all!!!

Come play along with us!

I love Angels We Have Heard On High and I remember learning Jingle Bell Rock in 3rd grade--we'd have a blast singing it. Good choices!

I just love Christmas music! I have (had, cannot find it) a little book with the history of many Christmas songs - many of the stories of how the songs were written are very inspiring - even Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

Both great songs! When my son was a baby, I'd sing him Christmas carols in place of lullabyes! (because I didn't know any words to many lullabyes, just the tunes!)

We had a few bumps in the road this year and will be singing our happy birthday to Jesus tonight instead of Christmas---long story---but I do love it when the family is able to stay focused on what it is really all about. Happy New Year!
