In Hawaii,
AloHa Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My question for today is:
Do you consider the Ride home from work:
#1) Unwind,down,relaxing time or
#2) Crazy stressful traffic dodging Time!?!

It is totally a more relaxing time...get out a little before rush hour and get my girl...not to bad. ;0)
Depends on the route, but generally driving helps me pray through things!
Blessings, andrea
When I was working and then driving home, It was definately unwind time. I would make sure to have crackers and Juice in the car for the boys and once I picked them up from daycare they were quietly eating and I would unwind on the way home. It was the only time Available, cause walking in the door at home.. we were hitting the ground running, supper, kids bath time, laundry cleaning, trying to get a moment to talk to hubby.. I very much enjoy being a SAHM now.
Your blog is adorable and so are your twins! :)
My commute is really unwind time. I only live about 5 miles from work and I don't have to get on the highway at all to get home. It's nice. :)
Mine is totally unwind time. I have about an hour and a half commute home, so I have my fav music all ready to go.
Unwind time.

I do not work at this time but when I did I would relax
I would consider it relaxing if I had a job. The town we live in is pretty nice - you can pretty much go to work and avoid the freeway and most traffic jams!
When I did work I considered it relaxing. Unless it was snowing out...then it was stressful and I just wanted to get home.
I am very thankful that I work from home so I actually don't have to commute anywhere. Thank God!

Oh, I'm one of the lucky ones that live 1 minute away from their workplace.
My husband however has to commute. He takes the subway and then a bus. He's lucky that he can fall asleep on the metro, a quick 10 minute power nap can be quite invigorating. So he hasn't complained much. I guess it's not that stressful for him.
When I worked outside the home, it was time to unwind.
my morning ride is #2 and my afternoon one is #1. my hubs has to sit in horrible traffic at rush hour. our town's traffic isn't so bad, though. i grew up in the new england where it would take 2 hours to go 10 exits on I-95. aloha and take care.
I suppose it would depend on the traffic!
It's totally relaxing to me only because I get off so late and don't have to fight the rush hour traffic any longer. :) It's a great way to unwind :) Have a wonderful Friday :)
Because I live in the DC area, my commute should be the Drive from Hell, but it's actually a wonderful way to unwind...
I almost always find driving to be unwind time - playing music loudly and singing at the top of my lungs always does that to me.
I work on the weekends so I don't usually run into traffic but I do have a 45 minute drive home. I love to jam to my ipod. On my way to and from work is the only time that I get any alone time - no kids, no hubby, just me and the tunes!
Hmmm, really depends on the day but probably a mix of the two.
I've always liked traffic so I consider it relaxing time!
When I was working it was totally stressful, I was stuck in major traffic - that is not relaxing to me.
I might be working after the 1st of the year again and we'll see how it goes - lol!
Thanks for stopping by mine.
I do not have to take that ride each day. I get to be a stay at home mommy right now! :)
My ride is about 12 minutes, so there isn't much time to wind down, and the traffic usually isn't all that bad.
I'm just happy to be done with work.
I don't have a drive time...but when I did, I used it to unwind, and call friends/family to catch up.
I also tagged you on my blog! :)
I don't go to work...but I love my drives because I don't drive often. I'm always trying to drive better and also point out the scenery to the kids.
