Aloha FriDaY!!

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day they take it easy, and look forward to the weekend.
So I thought that on Fridays I would and take it easy on the posting,as they do in Hawaii! Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
Oh, and don't forget to click on the link anywhere that's highlighted and play along with Kailani and the rest of us! You will make some new bloggy friends too!!

My question for today is:

Have you ever used Mary Kay beauty products?
Aloha

I don't think so, I started using Merle Norman YEARS ago!

Oh my gosh, I haven't thought of those products in years. I had a Mary Kay demonstration at my home for a friend, and the demonstrator did my face in their make-up. Girl, I felt like Bozo the clown, and my face was so greasy afterward. Needless to say I did not have a good experience with those products nor did I use them ever again. Guess I'm not very much help. Sorry.

No, and a good friend of mine sells them and many of my co-workers use them. You'd think I could take a hint or two...

My mom was a faithful Mary Kay follower when I was growing up. She would put this stuff (I can't remember what it's called now) on my face every night before I went to bed for 20 minutes. Hahaha she did the same to my 6'4" brother..We both had great skin with no problems of acne. My first mistake i had the lady do my makeup for the wedding & it's was the best makeup application I have ever had.

Yes I have, it was actually the makeup I had for my wedding. I used to sell Mary Kary years ago. I wish you great success!

I LOVE their lip gloss and is the only kind I use. I wasn't happy with their foundation though...maybe it wasn't the right kind. As soon as my Neutrogena anti-wrinkle stuff runs out, I'm thinking of doing the Timewise kit..I think it's 3 things for $90 or was. Good luck - I'm sure you'll do great!

Good luck with the Mary Kay! I had Johnna do a party a couple years ago at my house and it was a bust:) I did learn the right way to put on eyeshadow though:)

I sure have and I use to sell it my first year in college! I love many of their products! My favorite lipstick color use to be the intensity controller for summer time! Oh and I love the oil free eye make up remover ( I still use it!).

I have tried their stuff in the past but don't use any of it right now.

Thanks for stopping by my blog from M&M! Your children are adorable and your pictures are beautiful!

Also...any tips for a "new" runner? I have run sporadically in the past (including a few 2 mile races), but am getting ready to run part of a marathon relay in the end of September. I enjoy running and am wanting to increase my distances...any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

Yep! It's been a while so I can't remember the name of the kit I loved. I think it was Silky Hands? Or something like that. After using the kit, though, my hands were always soft as a baby's tushie. lol
