I am playing Music Monday along with my friend Tara at Keeping up with the Kellys! The theme was a song from the 80's!
I found one that I couldn't get enough of and hope you will enjoy!
I know I have MiA for awhile and I have missed all of you! I have just been so busy and my days have all of the sudden gotten so short!!!
On the running front~My daughter Belle and I made our trip to Ottawa,Canada and had a wonderful time!
I ran a 10k and did really good, considering I was nursing an injury!!I averaged about a 10:50 mile and was just really happy to be running!!!!
My girl ran the FuLL Marathon(26.2 miles)and started out super strong! I got to see her at the halfway point and she was looking good!Somewhere in the last 10 mi. or so she hit some uneven turf and hurt her foot,ReaLLY bad!!She finished the race limping and hurt but she did IT!!! I really wished she would have stopped but she said then she wouldn't have gotten her medal!!!Who knew??
I couldn't blame her! After alll ,she is my daughter!
I am going to try and write more soon 'cause I have alot more to share!
My son,Jason, is getting out of prison August 25th as long as he stays out of trouble!!!He has been doing that so far!!!I have such strong emotions about his release,it is hard to put into words,at this time.I am also looking for a transitional place for him to live so he can grow and learn responsibility but also be in a Christ Centered place! There are a few really great places so i will let you all know!
Have a great week and may God bless you and lift you Up this week,no matter what your going thru!
Ps.here is a great scripture I just had to share~
Proverb16:33(NLT version)
We may roll the dice, but the Lord determines how they Fall~
Gotta love that one and it's really in there I didn't make it up!
Oh that is a great song! I have missed you! Great job running the 10K. I would have passed out after 1/4 of a mile :-) I hope your daughter's foot is better and your injury is healing too.
Awesome news on Jason's release. I'll be praying for a transitional placement - one where he can adjust and get any extra needed help.
im sorry i havent stopped by in a while but i wanted you to know that i was thinking of you and i liked your pick of song today.. ever since this morning ive been playing all different ones from the 80's now its on my mind. enjoy the rest of the week. oh i also added your button to my page... best wishes ria http://uktotheusa.blogspot.com/
Great song. Great news about your son. I will be praying that he continues to do well. We all deserve a second chance. Have a great week and glad to see you back.
Great news about Jason! I hope things work out for him. And any song from Steve Perry makes me happy:) Glad you were in front of me at SITS today lady!
I love Ottawa but I swear that marathon is cursed. I have many friends who have had bad luck there; I'd only register for the half (did the 10K) through fear of falling into the curse. I'm sorry that your daughter ended up with a sore foot; she really wanted that medal!
Hi. My name is Olga. I am a Christian ,wife married to, we'll have to call him Big Chucky.I am also Mommy to 2 year old twins, Lil' Chucky and Maggie Pie.I am also Mom to Belle,Jill and Jason who are all in their early 20's.Oh and I can't forget about my Husky named Balto. He is the best dog on the planet!
Before my twins were born I worked for a major airline.I decided to take an early retirement to be able to stay home with them.
I started this blog as a way to share my passion about my Lord and
Savior,my twins, and running thus TwinspirationalRunner was born!
So many things have happened in the year that my twins came into this world.I will be writing and sharing about this sometimes. It will be painful for me but I plan on keeping it real and sprinkled with humor because that is how I've always gotten thru life.
I am fully reliant on God and I hope you will be inspired, motivated, moved and maybe even laugh a little, okay Alot!
Most of all I hope you will come to see how my ordinary life is being transformed into a beautiful work of God that is still in progress!God's love is Always All ways!

Great 80s pick! I'm playing along today too, but mine's not an 80s song.

Great song. Great news about your son, too. I totally sympathize with your daughter. haha...I would have been crushed if I couldn't finish.n
